AEROPLANE airport sign
Flying? There are two major airports on any map of Philadelphia. Philadelphia International and Northeast Philadelphia. No one I ever met or heard of flies in to or out of Northeast Philadelphia Airport. I believe it to be for freight and private planes. The Airport is in the southern tip of Philly. The subway does not run down there, but there is a regional rail line that does, the R1. Rates are variable depending upon whether you travel peak or off-peak and weekday or weekend. [SEPTA link] From what I understand, it is more practical and economical to take a limo to/from the airport than the R1 (SEPTA Regional Rail). I've never done it, so I can't vouch.
